Malcolm Sutherland
Co-founder and Director, Malcolm has been involved in event and expedition management and people development in a range of varied and challenging environments in the UK and abroad for 20 years.
He has been Event & Race Director of the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running since 2002 and is race director of other races and events in Scotland. Malcolm also acts as consultant to various international marathons and road races.
Prior to this Malcolm was operations director with the Scottish Community Foundation, country director for Raleigh International in China, Mongolia and Chile and a captain in the Parachute Regiment.

Caroline Sutherland
Co-founder and Director, Caroline has 15 years' PR & marketing and event management experience working with a wide range of blue-chip companies and organisations across the tourism & leisure, sports and charity sectors, giving an in-depth understanding of these industries.

Rachel Phillips
Rachel is a graduate in Business and Information Management and has considerable experience in project management and event planning. Rachel has a wealth of experience in planning and delivering events throughout the Highlands and Islands.

April Andrews
With a BA Hons in Event and Entertainment Management and practical experience of both sporting and cultural events, April joined us for a placement in 2009 and again in 2010, and is responsible for registration, logistics and entertainment.

Sarah Gardiner
Producer and project manager of many individual public events in Scotland, as a freelancer and with her company, Artisan Events for the past 15 years.
Her key expertise lies especially in the field of creating and delivering high profile “one off” outdoor events with a unique knowledge of working with pyrotechnics, International Street Theatre companies, sports events and parades.

Alison Bell
Alison Bell established Small Creek Communications in 2000. A graduate of Stirling University’s MSc in Public Relations, Alison is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Alison has over 20 years experience of providing PR services both in-house and as a consultant.

Ray Cameron
Ray works with us as the events staff and volunteer coordinator. He is very much a ‘people’ person and a great believer in the importance of delivering a high standard of customer care.

Our Network of Contacts
Across the range of events we are involved with and the clients we work for, we have developed an excellent network of contacts in both the private and public sectors spanning the tourism, sporting, leisure and media industries. In addition we draw on a network of specialist consultants and/or freelance staff, whom we call on for specific events and projects as required.
